July 2014 Ulta haul

Ulta haul
Lately I've been doing a bit of Ulta hauling since I now have 2 stores very close to me, as well as 2 stores in the next town near my parents house.  I've picked up a few things here and there so I'd love to share these and swatches of them for your viewing pleasure! Ulta had China Glaze 2 for $10, I picked up "It's a Trapeze" and "Turned Up Turquoise", both are beautiful colors that I can't wait to give them a try.  My next Ulta haul was made up of Clearance finds and I was pretty happy with the prices I paid and the $3.50 off $10 coupon.  My final Ulta haul of the month included 3 of the new L'Oreal quads(check back for swatches), a NYX concealer, and a Pixel eyeshadow since Chelsea Garay on Youtube raved about how beautiful it was (and it is) and 3 L'Oreal quads, because I couldn't just choose 1 of course during the 40% off sale. I love when Ulta has these sales because you can stock up on your favorites and try a couple of new things, Enjoy!

Ulta Jane Eyeshadow Haul, Swatch, & Review

Over the Summer I finally picked up some goodies that had been on my list for a while.  I've had my eyes on these for a while but when the beautiful and wonderful "Chesea Garay" on Youtube showed how amazing these were I knew I needed them.  The swatches she showed of the shades she owned were enough to make me run to the store more than once during the Buy One Get One 50% off sale and I used an Ulta coupon which ended being around $9 for 2 and they are $8 normally.  The shades I chose were Eclipse, Lotus, Passionflower, Dawn, Rosy Posy, and Clay; they all blend beautifully and the packaging and designs on the actualy shadow are cute and dainty.  Enjoy the swatches below!

Ipsy September 2014 "Street Style"

Hi Guys!

Today I'd like to share my Ipsy bag for September, I was super excited for this bag to come since it had a couple of items that I'd been wanting to try.  I always have a sneak peek at my bag online before it comes because I just can't wait! If you follow my blog you know how much I enjoy trying out new polishes and how rare it is for me not to have tried a brand.  Pacifica is a brand that I've only enjoyed their body lotions and skincare products but i enjoy what they're made of and how fabulous they work and smell, I've tried the Pacifica Luminizing Body Butter & Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter.  I've also tried a product from the Nourish Organic (Nourish Organic Face Lotion) and while it wasn't my favorite, I didn't hate it. MAC Pedro Lourenco Nude Quad + Aquatics "Lorelai"

Hello Friends!

Today I'm sharing one of my first MAC purchases, of many I'm sure! I just love the way MAC eye shadows apply, they are just the smoothest and most buttery.  I'm always on the search for a great champagne color so I picked up the "Lorelei" single and "Pedro Lourenco Nude Quad", I'm completely happy with both of these and have gotten tons of use out of them already.  The colors all go so well together and I am constantly using them in conjunction with Soft Brown.  Do you have any MAC faves or recommendations?

Zoya Tickled Collection Summer 2014

The start of a new week and we are just getting into Fall but I wanted to share my favorite Summer polish collection before we get too far into the bitter cold. This collection came out over the Summer and it was my favorite formula, creams.  The pinks and coral obviously grabbed me first as they are great staples for the season but the orange/red, green, and blue are just as perfect! The formula on each of these was wonderful and I can see myself wearing these a ton still into the Fall and Winter as pedicure colors, Enjoy!

It Cosmetics CC Bronzer

On a trip to Ulta I recently picked up the It Cosmetics CC Ombre Bronzer and I have to say it was every bit as gorgeous as it showed in pictures.  The product says it's a bronzer but the way I use it is as a highlighter in the lighter portion and a bronzer on the medium toned brown side.  This product blends amazingly into my skin and lately it has been the favorite part of my beauty routine.  My packaging had some defects and I spoke with an It Cosmetics rep, to my surprise she sent me a brand new compact so now I have a backup.  I hope they don't discontinue this as I absolutely adore it but I am not sure if it is limited edition. Nails of the Month July 2014

Hi guys,

Hope everyone is having a great start to the week, I thought I'd share my much overdue nail polish picks from July.  My nail colors were all over the place this month but I really enjoyed some of them and felt like they spoke well for my Summer mood.  I should have a post up for August soon since it is September and then I'll be all caught up.  I just received the new Zoya Entice & Ignite collections so I'm heavily swatching those and they will take the place of polish picks for September or it will be a very short post for this month.  Enjoy!!

Maybelline "Nudes" Palette

Hello Everyone!

I've been on the search for the new Maybelline nude palette for a few weeks now with no luck.  I thought I'd find it for sure at Rite Aid during the recent 40% off all Maybelline sale but I still had no luck.  When a new display at Target caught my eye I knew that it had to be mine and that I would be paying full price.  The palette costs only $9.99 and you get 12 beautiful neutral shadows,  it's simply beautiful and I can see myself getting some great use out of it this Summer.  It has a couple of copper shimmer shades which are my favorite so I know they will be getting the most use.  I'm also giving the Revlon Bold Lacquer mascara a try but I have yet to form an opinion on it so I'll keep you posted. Have you been able to get your hands on this palette & do you love it?  Enjoy the swatches below!
