Monthly Manis August 2013

Hi friends,

Today is my birthday so I thought I'd share my favorite type of post today! This month's manis have been all over the place for me, no definitely theme at all. I really just wanted to wear colors that I knew were staples & that I loved. I started with my favorite red at all time, Zoya Elisa (posted here), then wore the super sparkly Zoya "Tomoko" for my little beach getaway; the middle of the month I wore neutrals & finished the month out with Pinks & Accents. Enjoy!

I took advantage of this & chose the Armour Beauty lip gloss in "Ann Margret" which I've been lusting over for the past few months, it just looked like the most perfect coral color & I'm a complete sucker for Corals. I also grabbed The Balm's "Hot Mama" shadow/blush, which I've been lusting after for months now! It is the perfect peachy coral with a golden sheen & everything I thought it would be, I can see this one getting tons of use even through the Fall season.  Did anyone else catch this sale?

Mini Ulta Haul

Happy Tuesday Friends,

Today I'm sharing a little Ulta haul from the 20% sale they had last week, for the longest time I couldn't decide what I wanted to buy & then I settled on something I really needed to invest in.  I don't have too many face primers and every brand seems to be coming out with new versions of them so I wanted to give 2 of my favorite brands a try.  Along with my 20% coupon I also had a few points to add so I figured it was the perfect time to make my purchase.  I picked up the Benefit Stay Flawless 15 Hour Primer and the Tarte Clean Slate Flawless 12 Hour Brightening Primer; I haven't really had the chance to try them out yet but I imagine I'll use the Tarte for my mineral & powder foundations & the Benefit for liquid & cream foundations. We'll just have to see if they make it to a Favorites post or not! Enjoy!
