Sonia Kashuk Eye On Neutral & Eye On Neutral Shimmer Palette's

Today I have swatches and comparisons of 2 of my favorite eyeshadow palettes.  It's not secret that I am a complete sucker when it comes to Neutral palettes, I'm a creature of habit & love simple eye looks. If a neutral palette comes out I won't even look at my other palettes before I buy it, there is absolutely no reasoning with myself especially if it contains shimmer or sheen shadows.  So when Sonia Kashuk came out with a new Neutral Shimmer palette, it wasn't a matter of "if" only a matter of "when" I would be picking this up. I already owned the Eye on Neutral palette for over a year and love everything about it; the quality, price, & color selection are amazing! The original EON palette contains 12 matte neutral shadows while the EONS palette has 12 shimmer shadows(not to be confused with the SK glitter quads). The new palette has slimmer packaging and is a great accent addition to the original completely matte palette and I can see myself using these all year in every season and leaving behind my other palettes just for how simple they are to use. The other palettes I own (Naked, Naked2, Lorac Pro, Nude Tude, Lorac Unzipped, Stila In the know) are equally as great but these palettes have the most amazing price point at just $19.99 a piece! Swatches & pictures to follow, Enjoy!

My current skincare

Let me start off by saying that I do not have problem skin, I'm just insanely sensitive to the products I may try so I have to be overly careful. With that said, I have found a few staples that work in my routine & none of them break the bank.  Previously I used the Clarisonic Mia 2 but I returned it since I saw no real change in my skin & couldn't justify the cost if I didn't see a huge difference. I use these products once a day (at night) but should probably graduate to twice, hopefully when I stop being lazy.

First, I remove my eye makeup using the Sonia Kashuk Remove and a Shiseido Facial Cotton, the absolute softest cotton for your face that I've ever used.
Next I use whichever makeup wipes I have lying around & remove any makeup from the day.
I follow that with my Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser or Origins Checks and Balances, I switch off almost everyday & really don't see a difference but I do love that both of these foam so well & feel great on my skin.
My next step is the Boots expert sensitive gentle refreshing toner which I apply to a small cotton pad & wipe all over my face.
Finally, after my face is dry I add my favorite product, the Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream and I'm done. So there you have it, my night time mix of drugstore & high end skincare routine; after this I turn the lights out and go to bed and my face feels amazing for the next day!

My daily skincare routine

This blog post is gonna be: All about my Skincare. A little back story on me is that I have never had problem skin or skin issues, even as a teen. I have always received compliments on my skin & never wore makeup on my face until a little after Summer time, last year. Through my journey this past (almost) year, my skin has had a few issues with reactions to products & in general I have wondered how long it would be before I started seeing effects of aging. So in an effort to extend my skin's glow I've begun purchasing products to better my skin.

Up until a year ago I never used soap on my face and even after starting to wear makeup I would go to bed with all day makeup still on. I was sure that this couldn't go on forever so I've purchased a few things to help me with bettering my skin & removing my makeup each night.

The products I use:
1. Sonia Kashuk - Remove - $9.99 Target + Target Cotton Pads
2. Yes to Cucumbers Cleanser - Sensitive Skin - $9.99 Ulta
3. Clarisonic Mia 2 - Coral - $149 Ulta
(Day)   4. Simple Vital Vitamin Day Cream SPF 15 - $9.99 Target
(Night) 5. Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator (sample) - Full size - $36.00

It's as simple as doing steps 1-4 in the Morning & steps 1-5 at Night. I can't say that the Clarisonic has changed my life because as I said above I wasn't trying to fix anything, just really get a deep clean. In the past month that I've had it I did experience dry patches on my face but with the Clinique Hydrator it cleared right up so I really have no complaints. I have been so good about using it each night & really look forward to that 1minute of face cleansing!
