New e.l.f. goodies

Hi Friends! had a sale for President's Day for free shipping & I've wanted to pick up some of their new items as well as older that I can't get at my Target so I figured it was the perfect time. Below you will find the goodies that I ordered & I must say I'm enjoying everything, especially the Jumbo Lip Gloss Sticks since they are more like a balm & not at all a stain. The Custom Eyes were a little frosty & powdery but I hope they apply well to the eye.  The Long Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadows swatched amazing & I can't wait to wear them, I couldn't believe how gorgeous these were! Last but definitely not least were the Baked Blushes which didn't swatch so well with my skin color but I'm hoping when I get a tan in the Summer that it will help to bring out their pretty shades. That's all for now, enjoy the pics & hopefully you guys can catch a sale from e.l.f. soon as well!

Ulta bareMinerals goodies

Hi Friends! This past week Ulta had an absolutely fabulous sale on their BareMinerals Ready 2.0 & 4.0 eye shadow sets. The sets were 50% off with free shipping so I jumped at the chance to pick up the 2 that I've been eyeing.  2.0 duos were $10 instead of $20 and the 4.0 quads were $15 instead of $30 so it was a 2 for 1 special for me! I picked up "The Happy Place" & "The Next Big Thing", which is part of the new ReMix Spring 2013 Collection, below I have pictures of the beautiful packaging & swatches of the wonderfully pigmented shades, Enjoy!

My Very First MAC Haul

This weekend I had the chance to go to my local MAC store & actually browse their products. For those of you who don't know, I have a toddler which pretty much means I have 3 choices; marathon shop the cosmetics department, shop online, or just stay at home & stay away from makeup altogether(definitely not an option!). I had a couple of items in mind so I stayed with those, as not to go MAC crazy since I'm just starting my collection! What are some of your MAC staples or favorites? Enjoy the pictures below & here's to hoping everyone has an awesome week!

Tips & Toes of the Week 3/2

Hello friends! Hope this post finds you well & beautified! My nails stayed the same for this week as I purchased a new color on Sunday & still was on vacation, which only made me lazy & not want to deal with my nails! I did pick up 3 new polishes from the Flower Cosmetics line by Drew Barrymore at Walmart. This weeks pictures consist of my one and only nail color this week & pictures of the Flower Cosmetics polishes I grabbed.

Pretty much for my entire trip my nails looked like this:

CoverGirl "Constant Candy"

As soon as I returned home from my trip I changed up nails to this:

OPI "Suzi's Hungary Again"
And here's a picture of the Flower nail lacquers that I picked up:

"What's the Daffodilly-O", "Thistle OR That?",& "Precious Poppy"

Thanks for coming back! Hope you have another fabulous week!

"Brought" vs "Bought"

Hi Friends! Today I'm sharing a new type of post that I like to call "Brought" vs "Bought" & this series will center around travel & vacation makeup. I will be showing you the items I "brought" with me on vacation and the products that I picked up or "bought" while shopping on a trip. This time I made about 4-5 shopping trips & I feel I picked up some goodies that I'd been eyeing, hope you enjoy!

My Travel Makeup Bag Post

My first shopping trip was to CVS & I picked up Physician's Formula Fake Out Mascara "Ultra Black", CoverGirl Outlast Nail "Constant Candy", Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick "Fresh Papaya", & CVS advanced nail polish remover.

The next trip I made was to have my son's hair cut & the Hair Cuttery we went to, happened to have the Germany & Skyfall Collection mini's on sale for $4.99, reg. price of $12.50 so I snatched them right up & can't wait to try them out!

I had tons of fun parousing the cosmetic section of WalMart in search of the new Flower Beauty line, being the self proclaimed nail polish junkie I am I've been wanting to try out the nail lacquer line so I picked up 3 to start. These are $4.98 each & I loved the bright spring shades I chose! I also picked up the new L'Oreal Telescopic Shocking Explosions "Brownish Black", I've only tried it once but love how great it makes my lashes look with 1 coat!

My final shopping trip was to Sephora for a few "wants" that I haven't been able to get off my mind. My first 2 items were the Lorac Baked Matte Satin blush "exposed"& Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Cream "Mudslide".  Finally I had the great task of choosing my first high end eyelash curler, it was a toss up between Shiseido($19) & Tarte($16), I went with the Tarte knowing that I could return it if it didn't "change" my life & I could grab the Shiseido version. Included with the eyelash curler is a mini Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara, which I own in full size & love!

Thanks for reading another post!
