My favorite Highlighting tool

Happy Friday Friends,

I'd like to share my new favorite brush for applying highlighter. This is the EcoTools Deluxe Fan Brush and I really have enjoyed adding this to my everyday makeup routine of putting highlight on the bridge of my nose, brow bone, and upper cheek area.  I don't own any brushes to apply highlighter so this works perfectly and seems to apply the perfect amount.  The brush is super soft and really good quality as compared to my Sigma, Real Techniques, or Sedona Lace brushes. Do you have any brush favorites or must haves? Check back later this week for a post on the highlighters in my collection!

Se7ven Midnight Lace Synthetic Brush Set

My only "Black Friday" purchase was from Sedona Lace; each year they have a 50% off sale on their brushes for this day.  I missed the sale last year and kicked myself over and over because of it so I made sure I was ready this year.  These brushes usually retail for $59.95 so with the 50% off and additional $5 they were a steal.  So far I'm in love with this set and they are definitely on par with my Sigma Sigmax face brushes when it comes to quality and softness.  I'll update if anything changes with these brushes but I don't see anything in the future other than me loving them!

Tarte Haul

Hi Friends,

This week I on my blog there will be plenty of hauls to go around, I feel like it's the perfect week since it's my birthday week! I'm starting out with my recent Tarte purchase & new found love.  One of the YouTubers I enjoy watching is AprilAthena7, she does fashion, makeup, hauls, vlogs, & even has a cooking channel; I feel like she does-it-all & does everything well. In her July favorites video she mentioned a new product from Tarte: Amazonian Clay Full coverage Foundation & this completely intrigued me & had me curious to purchasing it. I've been using BareMinerals for years but I was in the market for a new Summer shade & this is the first mineral foundation that I've actually been interested in. I went back & forth on shades & where to buy it but when Tarte.com had their 30% off Friends & Family sale I decided I would take the plunge.  It came with the most fabulous "Airbuki" brusht to apply it with & I've just been in love with using it everyday. Has anyone else tried this? I'm pretty fond of it & think it's pretty amazing! Enjoy!

My Very First MAC Haul

This weekend I had the chance to go to my local MAC store & actually browse their products. For those of you who don't know, I have a toddler which pretty much means I have 3 choices; marathon shop the cosmetics department, shop online, or just stay at home & stay away from makeup altogether(definitely not an option!). I had a couple of items in mind so I stayed with those, as not to go MAC crazy since I'm just starting my collection! What are some of your MAC staples or favorites? Enjoy the pictures below & here's to hoping everyone has an awesome week!

My Nail Must-Haves!

My post today is on my Nail Must Haves, let me start of by saying that I usually do my nails every other day to 2 days. Since I am a Stay at home mom I really enjoy the individuality and unique twist that my nail color adds to my ordinary outfits. I mostly will sit down after the Tot goes to bed and do my full manicure and pedicure without being rushed or having any interruptions. If you'd like to see what I use on a regular basis, please continue reading on below, Enjoy!

Zoya remove+, OPI Nail Envy, Seche Vite

Up & Up Cotton Pads
Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream
Up and Up Exfoliating Cotton Pads - soft with a textured side to give polish something to grip to.
Zoya Remove Plus - gentle & nourishing remover, great for a habitual nail changer like myself available at www.Zoya.com.
OPI Nail Envy - 2 coats for 10 days & my nails were changed for the better, I use this as my base coat.
Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat - quickest trying top coat as well as a "fixer", if I make a mistake this stuff makes it darn near impossible to see.
Burt's Bee's Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream - my final step, a gentle cuticle cream that smells good & does what it says.

Thanks for visiting,
