It Cosmetics CC Bronzer

On a trip to Ulta I recently picked up the It Cosmetics CC Ombre Bronzer and I have to say it was every bit as gorgeous as it showed in pictures.  The product says it's a bronzer but the way I use it is as a highlighter in the lighter portion and a bronzer on the medium toned brown side.  This product blends amazingly into my skin and lately it has been the favorite part of my beauty routine.  My packaging had some defects and I spoke with an It Cosmetics rep, to my surprise she sent me a brand new compact so now I have a backup.  I hope they don't discontinue this as I absolutely adore it but I am not sure if it is limited edition. Enjoy the swatches below.

My favorite Highlighting tool

Happy Friday Friends,

I'd like to share my new favorite brush for applying highlighter. This is the EcoTools Deluxe Fan Brush and I really have enjoyed adding this to my everyday makeup routine of putting highlight on the bridge of my nose, brow bone, and upper cheek area.  I don't own any brushes to apply highlighter so this works perfectly and seems to apply the perfect amount.  The brush is super soft and really good quality as compared to my Sigma, Real Techniques, or Sedona Lace brushes. Do you have any brush favorites or must haves? Check back later this week for a post on the highlighters in my collection!

Ipsy Bag December 2012

I took a serious break from Ipsy Susbscription service but I'm back! I had both Ipsy & Birchbox for a while in 2012 but unfortunately Birchbox just wasn't sending me anything I would use, so for now I'm back to Ipsy! I've been so pleased with the products I've received in my 3 most recent bags that I decided I'd go ahead & start sharing through my blog. Below you will see pictures of what was in my bag for the month & be sure to check back for a post on my January bag coming later this week.
