New L'Oreal Colour Riche Dual Effects Eye Shadow Quads

This morning I'll be sharing the new L'Oreal Colour Riche Dual Effects Eye Shadow Quad pictures and swatches.  I own 2 of the past quads but was never really drawn to trying out too many with the colors not reaching out to me too much.  These quads were a total different story, the colors and packaging spoke to me instantly and once I swatched them the pigmentation was wonderful! I swatched them without a primer and the only quad that was so-so was the Perpetual Nude set, I believe it would perform beautifully with a primer on the eyes.  As I said before I much prefer this packaging over the previous and the product is gorgeous in itself. January Ulta Haul

Hi guys!

Today I'm sharing the smallest Ulta haul, I received the 20% off coupon from Ulta last week and I needed to pick up a few things so I made a trip to the store.  Everyone and their mother has been raving about the Too Faced "Better Than Sex" mascara so I figured I'd give it a try.  I haven't been using my favorite top coat; Seche Vite because of the harmful ingredients inside but I missed it and so I picked up a new bottle.  On YouTube MakeupbyTiffanyd is always raving about the CND Stickey Base coat and I always use the OPI Nail Envy so I wanted to take this one for a spin, I'll let you know if I'm loving it in an upcoming nail post.  And last but not least I picked up another OPI polish from the Gwen Stefani collection, I already have the "Over and Over A-Gwen" which is a rich red but I've wanted the creme pink from the line: "Hey Baby". My Ulta & CVS Haul

Hi Guys!

Today I'd like to share a small Ulta/CVS Haul. I've been searching for the Limited Edition Maybelline Color Tattoo's in "Just Beige" & "Matte Brown" and today I found a full display at CVS so I happily snatched them up for Buy One Get One 50% off! Next I went to Ulta (since I haven't been in a couple of months) and checked out the NYX section and all of the Single Eye Shadow shades were on clearance for $2.49! I have a few of these and the quality is fabulous for the price so I picked up 4 more to add to my collection. A few of the shadows are also on sale on Ulta's website but it's pretty slim pickings. NouveauCheap even featured my picture over on her blog, thank you G! Last but not least, I wanted to try the Essence express dry drops because I've heard just how awesome they are and they only cost $2.99 so I figured I'd give it a try! Pictures below, enjoy!

Essence 3D Eyeshadow Irresistible Caramel Cream

Hi Ladies,

Happy Friday, today I want to share my latest Ulta eye shadow purchase. On an unplanned trip to Ulta recently I picked up the Essence 3D Irresistible Eyeshadow Duo in Caramel Cream.  I saw this on UnlimitedElizabeth's YouTube channel, she is my absolutely favorite Mommy & beauty guru to watch; she has the most amazing Halloween tutorials and daily vlogs with her adorable son, Buddy. She used the duo when getting ready one morning & I knew that it was right up my alley & I had to have it. When I first tried it out I thought it may be a seriously cost effective alternative to my Hourglass Visionaire Duo in Gypsy but the champagne colors are a shade different & the crease color in the Essence is brown as opposed to Gypsy's dark plum. The price for this duo is a whopping  $3.49 so I would say that it's well worth it & you should give it a try; I'm definitely planning on picking up another in the shade "Irresistible Chocolates". Mini Ulta Haul

Happy Tuesday Friends,

Today I'm sharing a little Ulta haul from the 20% sale they had last week, for the longest time I couldn't decide what I wanted to buy & then I settled on something I really needed to invest in.  I don't have too many face primers and every brand seems to be coming out with new versions of them so I wanted to give 2 of my favorite brands a try.  Along with my 20% coupon I also had a few points to add so I figured it was the perfect time to make my purchase.  I picked up the Benefit Stay Flawless 15 Hour Primer and the Tarte Clean Slate Flawless 12 Hour Brightening Primer; I haven't really had the chance to try them out yet but I imagine I'll use the Tarte for my mineral & powder foundations & the Benefit for liquid & cream foundations. We'll just have to see if they make it to a Favorites post or not! Enjoy!

I hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day weekend, I know that I am! A Zoya Ulta Deal & my Pixie Dust Haul

Hello again Friends,

I recently showed you my Zoya "Earth Day Exchange" Haul so I thought I'd share my little Zoya Ulta Haul. Since the Pixie Dusts were not included in the promotion from Zoya.com I thought i'd make a special trip over to Ulta & at least use my $3.50 off $10 coupon to save some money. When I got there I noticed they were having a special on Zoya for Buy 2 Get 1 free which included the Pixie Dust, so I picked up "Nyx, Vespa, & Chyna" just to try them out before I bought the whole collection & I am in love. I have never been a matte or glitter girl but this has changed both of those things for me. I'm currently wearing Nyx & I can't stop looking at my nails & I've seen pictures of them with top coats & they are just as gorgeous! I believe the promotion is on for 2 weeks but I'm really hoping they get in the Summer Pixie Dust collection before the sale's gone. Last night I made a special trip (in the pouring rain) to Ulta, in "want" of the new OPI Euro Centrale collection for Spring/Summer 2013. I had 4 shades on my list but once I saw them it was soo hard to pick and choose so I ended up leaving with 6 which is better than 12! My weekend Ulta Haul

Over the weekend I enjoyed a visit from my best friend MorningCupofBlog & of course we planned to get pedicures & a trip to Ulta. I had tons of things on my mind that I wanted to pick up but I knew that I realistically needed to narrow it down. I didn't need anything but I'd been eyeing a moisturizer & some nail polish additions so those were my targets.

  

Over on the polish aisle I was searching for essie Peach Daiquiri & OPI Dutch Tulips since I had just fallen in love with this shade while getting a pedicure earlier. I've also been really into purples so I picked up Sally Hansen Lacy Lavendar, which is absolutely gorgeous on the nails! I also stopped in the beauty section of CVS and snatched up Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Grey Area & can't wait to see how beautiful it is out of the bottle.

I've been searching for a matte brown eyeshadow for blending our my shimmery shadows & thought I had found one with "Deep Bronze", but when I checked it out at home it did have glitter so the search continues. I don't have many lip liners so I wanted to grab Nude or Natural, so after swatching them I settled on "Natural".

 

Finally, I made my way over to the Benefit skin care section to meet & greet with the moisturizer that I'd been lusting after. I opened the jar & it was everything and more of what I wanted it to be.  I started out with the sample size to find out how my skin reacts but so far so good & I can't wait to buy the full size, which is $38.

Hope everyone had a fabulous Monday and continuing with that, has a fabulous week ahead! My Birchbox finally made it to my house after a trip for what seemed like months! I was so excited after seeing so many other boxes to receive the Zoya nail polish & hand salve, but alas neither was in my box this month. Read below to find out what actually was in my Box this month:

I would have to say the item that I am most excited to try is the Beauty Balm, which is a beautiful color & I actually think it may show up on my skin tone(some blushes just don't!). I'm interested to try the Essential oils but a bit scared to try them on my face as it just seems odd to avoid oil filled products on your face & then just lather up with raw ones all over. The perfume smells a little girly & is called a cologne so I must do more research to find out if it is indeed for him or her. I do really enjoy Befine skincare, I have the full sizes of the Scrub, Cleanser, Toner, Moisturizer, & Night Cream; they are pretty fun to use and guilt free since they are food grade products.

Today I ventured back into my local Ulta armed with my $3.50 coupon & a couple Zoya polishes in mind. I've never tried Zoya before but I've wanted to especially after I missed the buy 3 get 3 free sale! The 2 shades that I picked up were Bevin & Avril, I had to get Bevin since I was set on it arriving in my Birchbox & Avril just jumped out at me; which is so odd for a neutral color! I just finished applying 3 coats & a top coat of Sally Hansen Mega Shine & I am quite pleased, it wasn't streaky & I'm in love with this shade!

I am currently in search of a serum & new day cream to use since my Clarisonic Mia 2 :Coral seems to be drying out my sensitive skin. Hopefully I will have more to post on the Clarisonic & what I find during my search this week or next.
