Maybelline Spring 2014 Dare to Go Nude

Welcome to my obsession with makeup that's come to be known as "My Collection".  Over the past few years I have created a love for Maybelline Limited Edition collections and finding the new products as soon as they come out as you can see here and here.  The Dare to Be Nude collection was no exception to this as I said in this post and after about a week of not finding any displays I had given up.  I just happened to stop in a CVS one morning when the clerk was actually putting together the brand new Dare to Be Nude display so I spent some time shopping around then came back and picked up a few things.  I still want 1 more of the quads and maybe one more the Color Tattoos but for now I'm pretty happy with the items I picked up.  I have about 7 of these quads that I've collected because they are just that great; probably my favorite finish when it comes to eyeshadows and great pigment for the drugstore. New at the Drugstore February CVS Haul

Today I'm sharing my purchases from my most recent trip to the drugstore.  I had tons of fun walking around and checking out all of the new collections from the drugstore brands and actually made a list of my "wants".  On this trip I picked up 4 items from my list because Physicians Formula was 40% off and I had a coupon as well as Milani was Buy One Get One 50% off and I also had a coupon for that brand.  After seeing NouveaCheap's blog post on the new Limited Edition Maybelline "Dare to Go Nude" I've been keeping my eyes peeled and I'm also busting at the seems to try out the new NYX blushes and eyeshadow sticks! Nuance Salma Hayek Beautiful Blends Eye Quads

After my birthday haul from yesterday it's hard to imagine that I could buy anymore makeup that I didn't already have but somehow I found 2 that I "needed".  I've wanted to try the Nuance Salma Hayek line at CVS but really didn't know where so when EmilyNoel83 showed a picture of a beautiful unique quad from the brand I knew right where I should begin.  These quads aren't the usual boring packaging either, they are pretty original as you will see in the pictures below; I think they'd be gorgeous out on a vanity if you have the space.  I originally wanted the Neutral quad but once I saw pictures of the Smokey quad I had to have it, the 2 blue-ish greens drew me in as I thought they'd be perfect for Fall.
