My 5 November Favorites, Give or Take a Few

Hi Guys!

It's that wonderful time of the month again, Monthly Favorites! It's bittersweet that this is the last favorites that i'll be sharing of 2014, it was truly a simple month as I was busy most of the month preparing for Thanksgiving and now Christmas.  Simple has been the theme and definitely gotten it done and i'm thankful for that.

My 5 October Favorites

As we reach the end of October I thought that I should pick up on Favorites posts again.  I'm going to limit it to my 5 favorites of the month to make it easier to get a post up and not overdo it each month.  Hopefully I will get better with these, especially since I don't use makeup everyday it should be easier to pull a few things that I really loved during the month. Without further adieu, here are my favorites from October (complete with swatches); Enjoy!

November Favorites & Empties

Hello and Welcome to my monthly favorites and empties for November! I dug out a few old favorites this month and use up or said goodbye to a few newer favorites as they were empty.  On my face this month I've been cleaning with the Origins checks & balances, then applying Origins Vitazing all over, & finishing with my Bare Minerals original foundation in medium beige.  The blush I used throughout the month has been Nars Sin and I've been applying it to my cheeks using the Real Techniques stippling brush.  For my eyes I used the Coastal Scents medium shadow brush to apply both the Naked and Naked 2 palettes so that I could hold off my eagerness for Naked 3 (which will be here any day, look out for swatches and pictures).  My hair products included 3 products; Paul Mitchell skinny serum, Aussie 3 minute miracle, & the Macadamia healing oil treatment. Update on October Favorites and October Monthly Manis

This month you may have noticed there was no post for Monthly Manis and the reason for that is because I've been doing tons of Zoya swatches this month and haven't had time to wear any other polishes.  If you have time check out those posts, I worked really hard on them and I'll link them below for you guys to check them out.

The reasoning behind no October favorites is because I really haven't worn anything for makeup this month.  I hadn't really purchased anything either so I haven't had any Hauls to share but this month (November) I've had time to pick up a few new products and I'll be sharing them on the blog soon. If I had to pick a favorite for the month it would go to the Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in Coral Crush, it's the perfect lip balm to throw in my purse and use throughout the day without a mirror and even gives off a sheer hint of coral color.  I picked another shade up this week called Soothing Sorbet but I've only had that for about a day so I'm sure if I love it that you'll see it in next month's favorites.

August 2013 Favorites (a little late)

Long time no type, I've been super busy with a sick kiddo as well as myself.  We are all back on the mend so it's back to blogging I go! My first post-sickness post is all about my August Favorites, in these I will start including some of my monthly "wants"; items that I am keeping an eye out for and may pick up while shopping. July Favorites

Hi Friends,

Today I want to share my monthly favorites for July, this month I didn't use many products because I traveled a bit so I stuck to a few staples. This Summer I have been loving my cream face products because I have super dry skin & they seem to work the best for me in the heat. I've been shopping quite a bit so I'm sure I'll have all new favorites for August! One stand out product for me has been the Nivea Lip Balms, they were that product that I used & replaced but never realized how much of a staple they were. I have 1 in my kitchen, bed, car, bathroom, dining room & I'm constantly applying them! Hope everyone has had a wonderful month, I'm looking forward to August because it's my birthday month & I plan to have tons of fun!

My Favorite Red Nail Polish of All Time

Hi Guys!

Today I have a short post with a few pictures for ya!  I think I have settled on my favorite red nail polish of all time & that is saying a ton since I have over 350 in my collection. The stand out for me is: Zoya "Elisa", whenever I wear it I just can't stop looking at my nails & feeling like the color is absolutely brilliant. It is not dull in any way, it's the exact opposite; such a vivid, rich, ruby, almost mirror finished red. I never forget that this is my collection & if I had to pick 1 shade to wear forever, this would be it. Everyone has a polish that they just think is the "bee's knee's" and from time to time they forget how fabulous it really is until they pull it out & bam! it call comes back to them why they love this shade so much! Enough of me sharing my love for this shade & on to the pictures, enjoy!

So much to update

I have so much to update this blog with as I've been a constant beauty product search for things that I didn't know I wanted or even needed. I've been purchasing nail polish, foundation, mascara, lip balms, lip sticks, bronzers, blushes, & eyeliners that I need to update this thing on & that will all come in good time & slowly I'm sure but I promise to write it all in here.
